Friends, volunteers, runners, and loyal supporters gathered in downtown West Chester on Saturday, April 22, 2023 to participate in the first annual Running Home 5k. The event, led by Zukin Realty, raised funds for North Star's homelessness prevention & self-sufficiency program for single working parents. Runners and walkers of all abilities enjoyed the scenic loop through historic West Chester Borough. Awards were given to the three fastest male and female runners; Brian Louis, Nick Geigle, Joel Hollenbeck, Kerrilynn Bass, Kate Henry, and Sylvie Ashby.
North Star of Chester County would like to thank Zukin Realty for creating this wonderful event, the sponsors for supporting our mission, as well as the runners, walkers, and volunteers who gave their time and effort to make the day a success. Funds will directly impact hardworking Chester County families, preventing homelessness while guiding single parents to become self-sufficient.
