One of our program participants, "Laura," is currently working through her sweat equity with Habitat for Humanity with plans to move into her finished home in the months ahead. Laura achieved home ownership through Habitat after completing a first time home buyer's savings program, in addition to her work with North Star of Chester County. Soon, she will have a home for herself and her teenage sons.
To help Laura complete her labor hours, North Star joined her this weekend, working on one of many homes being built through Habitat for Humanity. There are more opportunities to volunteer for this effort. If interested, please contact info@northstarofcc.org.
